Jason Kelce ain’t letting the cereal police rain on his parade! The retired Eagles center fired back at critics who slammed his new cereal venture, Kelce Mix, with brother Travis Kelce.
It all started when one health guru, Calley Means, took aim at the Kelce brothers for promoting a product they claimed was bad for kids. Means dropped a tweet, blasting Jason Kelce for previously criticizing Reese’s Puffs only to later accept money to endorse the same brand.
.@JasonKelce said it was “ridiculous” for parents to give Reece’s Puffs to their children, calling it “candy.”
Several months later, he accepted money to endorse the cereal.
We have a childhood obesity crisis and heroes kids respect shouldn’t sell them out. https://t.co/0fE7gmoQJf pic.twitter.com/WyG0wfZnP1

But Kelce wasn’t having it. “I appreciate your concern that this is your work and you’re raising awareness for something very serious in our food intake,” he tweeted back. “We’ve talked about consuming [cereal]. That being said, I have no problem endorsing a product my kids and I have consumed.”
