New Angle of Caitlin Clark’s Incredible Deep Ball in Season Finale Goes Viral
A new angle of Caitlin Clark’s beautiful shot in the Fever’s season finale went viral.
The 2024 WNBA regular season officially came to an end for Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever on Thursday night as they lost to the Washington Mystics 92-91.
Despite the loss, Clark had another historic game to cap off an unreal rookie season. Clark hit two three’s, finishing with eight points and eight assists in just 20 minutes. Those two three-pointers were enough for her to pass WNBA legend Diana Taurasi for the second more three’s made in a single season with 122.
While both three’s were impressive, a new angle of her second deep ball of the game has turned fans’ heads on Twitter or “X’.
There have been a lot of great reactions to this post, with one fan saying “that shot was pure magic”, and another adding “She’s just sooo good”. One fan even noted her passing Taurasi in three’s, saying, “She wanted to pass Taurasi ;)”.

Regardless of her reasoning for taking these three’s, she shined as always, and displayed that she’s still in fantastic shape heading into the playoffs. It’s very possible that Clark breaks the single-season record in three’s next season, as she was just seven away from breaking New York Liberty guard Sabrina Ionescu’s record of 128 set in 2023.
That said, even if she doesn’t, she has plenty of time to break that, and many other records as she continues to grow into what will likely be one of the best WNBA players of all time.
