JUST FEW MONTHS AFTER LOOSING HER MEDAL, Gymnast Jordan Chiles Announces Exciting Personal News...See more

A major network taps Olympic gold medalist Jordan Chiles for a new TV gig.

Gymnast Jordan Chiles’ life has been a rollercoaster of excitement and heartbreak over the past few months. After playing a crucial role in helping Team USA win gold 2024 Paris Olympics, she missed out on competing in the individual all-around final by .067 points.

However, Chiles qualified to the individual Floor Final and won the bronze medal after Team USA coach, Cecile Landi, noticed her difficulty score was incorrect. The judges agreed and changed Chiles’ score from 13.666 to 13.766, cementing her third place finish.

However, following a highly controversial ruling by the Court of Arbitration (CAS), the International Gymnastics Federation (FIG) reversed Chiles’ score and awarded her bronze medal to Romania’s Ana Barbosu.

While USA Gymnastics continue to fight for Chiles, the 23-year-old is holding her head up high. She joined Simone Biles at a Texas Rangers game last week to watch her throw out the first pitch, made an appearance at the U.S. Open on September 5, and remained in New York City to attend events at fashion week.

On Friday, September 6, Chiles announced exciting personal news on her Instagram Stories.

Chiles revealed that she will be a presenter at MTV’s 2024 Video Music Awards, which takes place UBS Arena in Long Island on Wednesday, September 11. The live event will feature performances by numerous artists including Chappell Roan, Karol G, Sabrina Carpenter, Shawn Mendes, and Megan Thee Stallion, who’s also hosting the awards show.

September looks to be an eventful month for Chiles. Less than a week after the VMAs, she’s set to join Biles and Co. on the “Gold Over America Tour,” which stops in 30 cities across the nation. Biles has also reached out to congratulate her.
