Everything surrounding Diddy continues to make headlines after the rapper was arrested a few weeks ago and accused of various crimes such as sex trafficking and rape.
On Tuesday, October 8, the lawyer of the musician’s victims had the opportunity to give voice and testimony while on ‘TardeAR’, Telecinco’s afternoon show presented by Ana Rosa Quintana. Crystal del Toro put on the table the terrible data so far: 120 complainants and, in the last hours, more than 12,000 calls.
“Many were minors. Of the 120, half are men and half are women. And at least 24 of them were minors when the abuse occurred. The youngest victim was a nine-year-old boy,” the lawyer confirmed, in statements that show how tough this investigation is.
Del Toro called this case “a big tragedy” in which the Diddy parties are in the eye of the storm. The lawyer confirmed that they were events in which “a drug was distributed that was used to tranquilize horses”, which caused the victims to feel “totally disoriented” and be “controlled”.
The lawyer confirms that “in a position of influence you can control everything”
The most lurid part of the issue is that there were “rapes leaving the victims unwilling and with no way to leave”. The lawyer confirmed that “we are not only talking about high-ranking individuals and celebrities”, but “banks, hotels, companies and entities that facilitated the abuse at such a high level”.
That power and influence is one of the reasons why nothing has been uncovered in two decades: “In a position of influence you can control everything. The reason all this came to light was because of the video of him beating his girlfriend. Also, cameras have been uncovered.”
