Pax Jolie-Pitt, the 20-year-old son of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, was reportedly involved in an accident on Monday in Los Angeles. While riding his electric bike along Los Feliz Boulevard around 17:00, Pax reportedly collided with a stationary vehicle at a red light.
Pax was not wearing a helmet during the incident and according to law enforcement sources speaking to TMZ, he sustained a head injury and experienced hip pain, prompting his transport to a nearby hospital for medical attention.
Initial concerns from doctors included a possible minor brain bleed, although the full extent of his injuries is still being assessed.
The accident occurred as Pax was approaching an intersection, where he collided with the rear of a car. The driver of the vehicle immediately checked on Pax’s condition before emergency services arrived. Eyewitnesses reported that Pax’s head appeared to have been injured in the crash.
Pax is one of six children shared by the former couple Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt. The siblings include Maddox, 22, Zahara, 19, Shiloh, 17, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 15. While most of the children were adopted, Shiloh was born in Namibia in May 2006, and the twins were born in July 2008.
A strained relationship
The family’s dynamics have been publicly complicated, especially after Jolie and Pitt’s divorce in April 2019. In October 2022, Jolie accused Pitt of abusive behavior during a 2016 incident on a plane, which has strained his relationship with the children.
“Pitt grabbed Jolie by the head and shook her, and then grabbed her shoulders and shook her again before pushing her into the bathroom wall,” the countersuit read. “Pitt then punched the ceiling of the plane numerous times, prompting Jolie to leave the bathroom.”
