WWE’s Biggest Party of The Summer is in the books, and the company is now gearing up to build towards the Bash in Berlin Premium Live Event. Meanwhile, Triple H recently addressed the criticism surrounding former World Heavyweight Champion Damian Priest during the latter’s stint as Mr. Money in the Bank.

Last year, The Archer of Infamy won the Money in the Bank briefcase in London. However, the 41-year-old star failed multiple times when he tried to cash in the briefcase on the then-World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins.

 

The RAW Superstar was ridiculed for his antics and failed cash-in attempts.In WWE 24: Damian Priest, The Game addressed the questionable booking of Damian Priest when the star held the Money in the Bank briefcase. The Chief Content Officer stated that the company was waiting for the right moment to execute the ”biggest thing possible” for The Punisher, and fans reacted harshly, as they were unaware of the plans.

Priest eventually cashed in his MITB contract against Drew McIntyre and claimed the World Heavyweight Title at WrestleMania XL.

“People, if they don’t know where it’s going, so whatever they see in the moment, they are reacting to. So, as a talent, it is difficult to deal with. We’re looking for the right moment to make the biggest thing possible for him,” he said. (From 51:57 to 52:18)
